Sir Henry Clithering is a fictional character who appears in Agatha Christie's short stories (The Thirteen Problems, 1932) and is mentioned in several novels featuring Jane Marple.

He is a retired Scotland Yard commissioner and his godson Dermot Eric Craddock is a Detective Inspector at Scotland Yard. Whenever local police warn Marple not to interfere in an investigation, Sir Henry supports Marple. In the novel The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side, Craddock has been promoted to Chief Inspector in Scotland Yard.
