Dzhuma Durdy Karayev (10 January 1910 in Baýramaly – 4 May 1960) was a Turkmen politician who served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Turkmenistan.

Karayev came to power on 14 December 1958, succeeding Sukhan Babayev. He served until his death on 4 May 1960. Balysh Ovezov became the next General Secretary.
