Patrick Lavery (28 February 1884 – May 1922) was an English professional football outside left who played in the Football League for Hull City.[1]

Personal life

Born in Walker, Lavery grew up in County Tyrone and Blackhill.[2] As of 1914, he was working as a plater's assistant at the Armstrong Whitworth shipyard in Newcastle upon Tyne.[2] Lavery served in the Yorkshire Regiment during the First World War and was seriously wounded during the course of his service.[2]
