Samuel Grandsir (born 14 August 1996) is a French professional footballer who plays for Stade Brestois 29, on loan from AS Monaco, as a winger.[1]

Career

Grandsir started his career in his hometown, Evreux. In 2016, he moved to Troyes Academy until he got promoted to the first team. During his time at Troyes Academy, he appeared 51 times and netted 6 goals. He was a regular starter for both Troyes Academy and Troyes. For Troyes, he appeared 69 times and scored 6 goals. Impressing other teams, he moved to AS Monaco in 2018 for £4.50m and a fee of £2.70m. He plays for France's U21 squad and made his debut on 5 October 2017.[citation needed]

On loan from Monaco to Strasbourg in January 2019.[2]

International career

Born in France, Grandsir is of Senegalese descent.[3] He is a youth international for France.
