Rahul Vijay (born 7th June 1996 ) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Telugu films.

Early life

Rahul Vijay was born in Chennai and brought up in Hyderabad. His parents are Sumathi Vijay and Vijay (stunt master)[1]. He has a sister named Divya Vijay. He did his education in Obal Reddy Public School, Hyderabad, and graduated from St Mary's College in Hyderabad. He studied MA Mass Communication and Journalism. He was interested in animation but moved on to dance and gymnastics. He also participated in theatres. He later decided on acting as his career choice. Rahul has also traveled to Singapore to train in Movie fighting.


Career

Rahul made his film debut with the romantic drama Ee Maaya Peremito (2018).[1] His next film was the female-centric Suryakantham (2019). In a review of the film by The Times of India, the reviewer wrote that " Rahul Vijay as Abhi seems to have improved from his previous film and brings honesty to his character".[2] Rahul went on to star in the Tamil and Telugu remakes of College Kumar, a Kannada movie.
