Jaime Fernando Thorne León (11 September 1943 – 5 April 2018)[1] was a Peruvian politician who served as the Minister of Defense under the administration of President Alan García Pérez, from September 2010 to July 2011.[2][3][4][5]
Biography
A lawyer, Thorne León was the President of the Peruvian National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property, a.k.a. INDECOPI, until he was appointed as Minister of Defense by President Alan García in September 2010.[2]
