Jean Riachi (born 1963) is the founder and current CEO and Chairman of the Board of FFA Private Bank, Lebanon's largest investment bank.[1] He founded the company in 1994 as a regulated Financial institution. In 2007, the Company was granted a banking license,[2] Jean Riachi is also the Chairman of FFA Dubai, the first Lebanese Financial Institution to get a license from the DFSA in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).[3]

Education

Born an raised in Lebanon, Jean Riachi completed his high school education at Lycee Louis-le-Grand in Paris and graduated from HEC Paris business school in 1985. He also holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance (IDP-C) from INSEAD's International Directors Program.[4] [5]

Other

Jean Riachi was a member of the MInistry of FInance's Committee in charge of drafting the new Lebanese Financial Markets Law.[6][7] He is also member of Human RIghts Watch's Beirut Committee (HRW),[8] board member of the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM Lebanon).[9] and President of the Faraya Ski Club[10] He is also on the board of civil society NGOs such a Kulluna Irada and ALDIC.
