The 1974 Villanova Wildcats football team represented the Villanova University during the 1974 NCAA Division I football season. The head coach was Jim Weaver (first season), who resigned after news broke that he had signed to coach elsewhere in 1975 and Lou Ferry served as interim head coach for the last three games of the season. The team played their home games at Villanova Stadium in Villanova, Pennsylvania.[1] Villanova was 3-1 and ranked 7th in the Lambert Trophy poll after four games. They would lose their final seven games.
