George Washington Memorial Park is a cemetery located in Paramus, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.[2] It was established in 1939 as a "whites only" cemetery.[1]
Noted burials
- Jedh Colby Barker (June 20, 1945 – September 21, 1967), United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism during the Vietnam War in September 1967.[3]
- Granville Wellington Carter (November 18, 1920 – November 21, 1992), sculptor from Augusta, Maine.
- Big L (born Lamont Coleman; May 30, 1974 – February 15, 1999), New York City rapper and hip-hop producer
- Jack Cusick (June 12, 1928 – November 17, 1989), shortstop for the Chicago Cubs and Boston Braves
