Julia Brown is a Scottish actress. She stars as the lead role of Lois Bennett in the BBC's World On Fire, and appeared in the BBC's M.I. High and Shetland, and Netflix's The Last Kingdom. She was brought up in Edinburgh.

Career

Brown was known for her portrayal as Keri Summers in series 7 of MI High.[1] She has also starred as a series regular in the BBC drama Shetland and in Netflix series The Last Kingdom. In 2018 Brown was cast as a lead role in Peter Bowker's BBC wartime drama "World On Fire" as the character Lois Bennett. She stars alongside Sean Bean, Lesley Manville and Helen Hunt. [2] She is signed by renowned acting agent Ruth Young at United Agents.[3] Brown is a model signed by Model Team [4] and has been involved with modelling for several different companies.
