Emerit Desmond Lindbeck (August 27, 1934 – August 27, 2008) was a professional baseball player. He was an outfielder for one season (1960) with the Detroit Tigers. For his career, he compiled no hits in one at-bat and appeared in two games.
An alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, he was born and later died in Kewanee, Illinois at the age of 74, on the exact date of August 27.
