Montaluce Winery & Estates is a winery-based community in Dahlonega, Georgia, 40 miles (64 km) north of Atlanta. It was founded in 2007 by a partnership between Atlanta-based Beecham Builders, Greenway Development and Harrison Design Associates and features Tuscan-styled architecture. Montaluce's first grapes were crushed in the fall of 2008. Stefano Salvini of Campodelsole Winery in Bertinoro, Italy, is the winemaker. The facility is over 25,000 square feet (2,300 m2) on a total of 400 acres (1.6 km2) with 35 acres (140,000 m2) dedicated to the vineyard and produces Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Pinot grigio, Chardonnay and Merlot.
