Aranos Constituency

Aranos Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Hardap Region of Namibia. It was created in August 2013, following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia, and in preparation of the 2014 general election. The administrative centre of Aranos Constituency is the town of Aranos.[1]

Politics

In the 2015 regional elections Jan Jarson of Swapo won the constituency with 1,278 votes, followed by Dawid Gaweseb of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP, 613 votes) and Rehabeam Katjijova of the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA, 384 votes).[2]
