Gennaro Righelli (12 December 1886 – 6 January 1949) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and actor.[1] He directed more than 110 films in Italy and Germany between 1910 and 1947. In 1930, he directed the first Italian sound film, The Song of Love.[2] He was married to the film star Maria Jacobini who he frequently cast in his films.
