The neblina tapaculo (Scytalopus altirostris) or « mist tapaculo », also known as the elfin forest tapaculo, is a species of bird in the family Rhinocryptidae. It is endemic to the northeastern Andes of Peru.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
