Richard Bannister Hughes

Ricardo Hughes (born Richard Bannister Hughes Mills, 1810-1875) was a British businessman with notable activity in Uruguay.[1]

He was one of the founders of Villa Independencia (nowadays Fray Bentos) and a salted meat factory which later became Liebig's Extract of Meat Company Limited.[1]
