Jon Herwig Carlsen (born 15 April 1937) is a Norwegian sports commentator.

Carlsen grew up in Oslo, and is a teacher by education. He worked as sports commentator for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1967 to 2011.[1] He was awarded the Gullruten honorary award in 2007, along with fellow sports commentator Kjell Kristian Rike.[2]
