Andrew Bernal (born Andrés Bernal; 16 May 1966 in Canberra, Australia) is a former professional football defender, and later football agent and personal assistant for David Beckham.[1]

Playing career

Club career

Bernal had played almost 100 games of Spanish club football whilst on loan to Albacete Balompié and Xerez in the Spanish lower divisions after graduating from the AIS before playing most of his club football at Reading in England, where he was part of the team that narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League in the 1994–95 season.[citation needed]

International career

Bernal has also played for the Australian national team on 21 occasions between 1989 and 1996.[citation needed]
