Arindom Chatterjee also known by his mononym Arindom is an Indian music director who is noted for his composition in Bengali Films.[4][5][6][7]

Career

He debuted in Raj Chakroborty's Bojhena Shey Bojhena. In a career span of 7 years many of his compositions have become popular. His collaboration with Dhaka Attack and a single featuring Bushra Shahriar was also popular. The album of Bojhena Shey Bojhena was a hit and marked a significant time for the Bengali Film music. The music of the movie was a success. Most of the songs went on to become chartbusters after that. His second film Borbaad produced the hit song "Parbona", sung by Arijit Singh.Thereafter his collaboration with Arijit Singh became extremely successful with hit songs like "Egiye De", "Thik Emon Ebhabe" "Tomake Chai", "Jodi Bolo", "Tomar Dyakha Nai", "Bhalobasa Jak" topping the charts for a considerable period of time. He as a singer is known for hit songs like "Hote Pare Naa", "Bhalobeshe Kono Bhool Korini Ami", "Borbad Hoyechi Aami" and so on.

He has worked with Atif Aslam, Vishal Dadlani and Raftaar. His latest film Fidaa released on Eid 2018.

Early in his career he started scoring for television serials under multiple banners. His songs blend Indian and western influences. He has composed in a variety of genres.

The composer's latest release "Bhutu Bhaijaan" from Haami is a hit.[8][9]. In 2020, Arindom's composition "Shune Ne" from the film Love Aaj Kal Porshu has received overwhelming response from every nook and corner making it one of the hit Bengali songs of 2020.[10][11][12]
