130th[4][5] is a proposed rapid transit station for the Red Line as part of the Red Line Extension. The station is planned to open in 2026[6] if the CTA can get the funding for the $2.3 billion project. The station will be constructed adjacent to the South Shore Line in Chicago's Riverdale neighborhood. It will serve as the southern terminus of the Red Line.
