Reception
The Indian Express wrote "Maaniik promised to be a romantic fantasy love story. The fantasy portions are noteworthy, no doubt, but everything else, including the humour, is mediocre at best".[5] Times of India wrote "Maanik would have been a decent fun ride had the screenplay been a little better with convincingly written characters."[6]
