Brian P. McAndrews is a former Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Pandora Media, Inc..
Career
McAndrews served as Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Advertising since September 1999 and President since January 2000. He also served as an Executive Officer of ABC Primetime Entertainment [1] and as Executive Vice President and General Manager of ABC Sports, Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of Advertiser & Publisher Solutions Group from August 2007 to December 2008.
Background
McAndrews holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business (1984) and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College (1980).[2] McAndrews was the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Pandora Media, Inc. from September 11, 2013 to March 2016. McAndrews served as Product Manager of General Mills, Inc. from 1984 to 1989. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Advertising since September 1999 and President since January 2000. He served as an Executive Officer of ABC Primetime Entertainment. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of ABC Sports, Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of Advertiser & Publisher Solutions Group at Microsoft Corporation from August 2007 to December 2008. He served as an Executive Officer of ABC, Inc. He was a venture Partner/Partner and Managing Director of Madrona Venture Group, LLC from September 2009 to August 2013. He was employed at ABC Television Network. He served as Chief Executive Officer of aQuantive Inc., from 1999 to 2007 and served as its president. He serves as the Chairman at GrubHub Inc. and has been its Director since August 8, 2013. He serves as a Director of United Way Of King County. McAndrews has been an Independent Director of Fisher Communications, Inc. since October 2006. He has been a Director of Clearwire Corporation since February 2009, The New York Times Company since 2012; and AdReady Inc. since July 2010. He served as a Director of Jobaline.com Inc and Seamless North America, LLC since May 1, 2012. He served as a Director of Microsoft Advertising since September 1999, Seamless North America, LLC since October 2011, WhitePages.com, Inc. since October 28, 2005, Blue Nile Inc. from April 2004 to May 22, 2007, AppNexus, Inc. since November 8, 2012 and of Searchandise Commerce, Inc. since 2010. He was named Advertising Age's first-ever Digital Executive of the Year and was designated as one of the 30 most influential executives in the advertising, marketing and media world in Adweek's 30th Anniversary issue.

Personal life
McAndrews lives in the Seattle area with his wife, Elise Holschuh. They are part owners of Seattle Sounders FC, the local Major League Soccer club.[3]
