Fernando Curiel Defossé (born 27 July 1942 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican writer, lawyer and professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico since 1980.[1][2][3]

He attended the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 1980, Curiel won the Xavier Villaurrutia Award for his essay Onetti: obra y calculate infortunio.[4][5] He regularly contributes to the El Financiero.[6]
