Hoppel poppel
Appearance
Hoppel poppel is a dish made with leftovers associated with frugal housewives.[1] It's found in German cuisine, Austrian cuisine and is also associated with the cuisine of Minnesota in the Midwestern United States.[2] It's made with home fries, ham or salami, eggs and milk. Sometimes its topped with melted cheese.[3]
