Ghorpadi is a part of Pune Cantonment Board situated in the Pune district, Maharashtra, India. British colonial bungalows can be found in Ghorpadi. In Ghorpadi the Defence land[clarification needed] is situated. The roads Victoria, Vishwamitra Marg, Alexandra Road and B.T.Kawde Road, are locally renowned. The schools include: St Joseph High School, Ghorpadi Village High School, Swami Vivekanand, Basant, Saraswati Vidyalaya and Shahid Bhagat Singh high school.

Shrinath mhaskoba temple in Ghorpadi is the most famous temple with Shrimant Dagduseth Halwai Ganapati being the most famous Ganesh Temple in Pune. In Ghorpadi there are two major railway gates, the first is in front of Sai Temple and the other one is near the Hanuman temple before the road to Bharat Forge[clarification needed] and B.T.Kawde. we also find sisodiyas here the most famous being kuwara bhanu pratap singh sisodiya

St. Mary's Church, Pune is located in Ghorpadi which is the oldest church in the Deccan region.

This area is place of unity where different religious beliefs are gathered here, it's an place of Hindu-Muslim Unity.

Chandrakant khunekari is famous Social worker in Ghorpadi Gaon.
