Dr. Gwendoline "Gwen" Malegwale Ramokgopa is the former MEC for Health in Gauteng, South Africa. She succeeded Qedani Mahlangu. She was the executive mayor of City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality and served as the Gauteng provincial health minister from 1998-2006. Dr. Ramokgopa is the chancellor of Tshwane University of Technology. She was born in Atteridgeville. She was Executive Mayor of Tshwane Metropolitan City 2006 - 2010.
