Joseph Douglas Kowal (born February 3, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Whitby, Ontario) is a former professional ice hockey left wing. He was drafted in the second round, 33rd overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He played in 22 games in the National Hockey League with the Sabres, recording five assists.
