Rainer Osselmann (born 25 July 1960) is a former German water polo player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics.[1][2]

Osselmann was born in Duisburg. His father, Friedrich Osselmann, played water polo for West Germany at the 1956 and 1960 Olympics, whereas his mother, Birgit Klomp, competed in swimming at the 1956 Games.[1]
