Portrait of Helen van der Schalcke or Helena van der Schalcke as a Child is a c.1648 oil on canvas painting by Gerard ter Borch. It shows the two-year-old daughter of the cloth merchant Gerard van der Schalke and his wife Johanna Bardul in a white silk dress, holding a carnation, symbolising resurrection and the hope of eternal life.
