Bythopirellula is a genus of bacteria from the family of Planctomycetaceae with one known species (Bythopirellula goksoyri).[1] Bythopirellula goksoyri has been isolated from deep sea iron hydroxide deposits from the Arctic Mid-Ocean Ridge.[2]
