Cypraeovula castanea is a species of sea snail, a cowry, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Cypraeidae, the cowries.[1]

Description

The length of the shell attains 28.9 mm.

Distribution

This marine species occurs off the Agulhas Bank, South Africa
