Intercollegiate basketball season
The 2008–09 Iowa State Cyclones women's basketball team represented Iowa State University in the 2008–09 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cyclones were coached by Bill Fennelly and played their home games at the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones are a member of the Big 12 Conference (North Division). The Cyclones participated in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic (from November 28–30) and the Cyclone Challenge (from December 29–30).
