Nazir Ahmad Laway (born 5 November 1963 in Hanad Chawalgam, Kulgam district in India) is the Member of Parliament representing the state of Jammu & Kashmir in Rajya Sabha.[1][better source needed]

He was elected to Rajya Sabha from state of Jammu and Kashmir on the ticket of JKPDP in February 2015. He is also believed to have developed close connections with top Politicians in New-Delhi.[2]

He is concentrating on the development of infrastructure at educational institutions and Hospitals in the state. .[3]

On 1 November, he was expelled through an anonymous press release from J&KPDP for anti-party activities as he attended the swearing-in ceremony of first Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Girish Chandra Murmu.[4]
