Danny J. Clayton is an Australian Television presenter.[1][2][3]

Personal life

Growing up on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Clayton attended St Aloysius' College. Whilst he was still at school Clayton entered Channel V Australia 'Snapper' competition, aged 16 years, which he won, giving him the opportunity to work as a photographer with one of Australia's biggest music television channels, shooting music festivals and gigs all around Australia.

After Channel [V] management witnessed Clayton spontaneously storming the stage during filming of an episode of the well known Australian Idol and entertaining the crowd with his charismatic banter, they decided to trial him as a TV host for the channel.

On the day Clayton graduated[where?] he was offered a full-time contract to continue his employment at Channel [V] as the youngest VJ on air alongside Andrew G, Yumi Stynes, Maya Jupiter and James Mathison.[citation needed]
