Guppedantha Prema (In English: Heart full of Love) is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language youthful romantic drama film written and directed by Vinod Lingala and produced by Eye Wink Productions. The film is introducing Sai Ronak, Aditi Singh and Aishwarya in the lead roles.[1] Navneeth Sundar composed the film's music. Sanjay Loknath handled Cinematography while Basava Paidireddy is editing the film and Rajeev Nair handled the art. The film released on 17 June 2016 worldwide.

Plot

Yuvan (Sai Ronak) is a university student who loses his parents in an accident. He always dreams of a love marriage because his parents also had one. Yuvan befriends Sandy (Aditi Singh) and soon their friendship blossoms into love. A twist in the tale arises when the young couple gets separated. A heartbroken Yuvan pens a book titled Tholi Prema as an ode to Sandy. After reading the book, a girl named Swara (Aishwarya) falls in love with Yuvan. Destiny has other plans as Sandy comes back into Yuvan’s life. Rest of the story is about whom Yuvan chooses and ends up with finally.[2]

Theme

Unveiling the first look and official teaser of Guppedantha Prema, the directorial debutant Vinod Lingala revealed that the film deals with the purest feelings of first love and is being envisioned as a beautiful feel good and heart touching love story that lives in one's thoughts for real good time. The nature of the film encapsulates honesty, contemporary, youthful and close to our own lives elements in it, the sources informed in the first look note.

Development

After the completion of the script of Guppedantha Prema, director Vinod Lingala got associated with Eye Wink Productions for the production of the film. The film's fresh nature needed new faces and hence a good scale of casting hunt was carried out and finalized in the pre-production phase of the project. An extensive location scout was performed to pin the perfect locations for the aspired vision of the film. Being a youthful love story, music has got a very special place and good time is invested in the production of the film music.

Filming

The film shooting took place mainly in KITS Warangal,[3] Shillong, Cherrapunji, Mawlynnong, Khasi Hills, different parts of Meghalaya and other North Eastern States, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. In a span of four months the filming was done in four major schedules. For the first time in South Indian cinema, many new scenic beauties of North East India are explored and captured which would ensure a poetic visual treat.

Release

Guppedantha Prema is released on 17 June 2016.
