Armed Forces General Command (Poland)

The Armed Forces General Command (Polish: Dowództwo Generalne Rodzajów Sił Zbrojnych, DGRSZ) is a joint command of the Polish Armed Forces, responsible for commanding military units of the armed forces during peace and crisis. During wartime, it commands military units that are not subject to the Armed Forces Operational Command. Current (July 2019) General Commander is Lt Gen Jarosław Mika (pl). Subordinated to the Chief of the General Staff, its main task is to train military units, their maintenance and preparation to the wartime roles drawn up by the General Staff and the Operational Command.
