Otto Paul Pflanze (2 April 1918 - 3 March 2007)) was an American historian.[1] He was one of the leading historians of 19th century German history.

Pflanze attended Yale University.

He is perhaps best known for his biographies and writing on the German politician Otto von Bismarck.[2][3][4]

Awards

Pflanze won the Guggenheim Fellowship for Humanities.
