Zawady Oleckie [zaˈvadɨ ɔˈlɛt͡skʲɛ] (also Zawada; Template:Lang-de, from 1938-45 Schwalgenort)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Kowale Oleckie, 17 km (11 mi) north-west of Olecko, and 123 km (76 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
