Tlaxcala Territory (red) surrounded by Puebla state.

Tlaxcala Territory was one of the 19th century territories of Mexico, from 1824 to 1856.

It was located in East-Central Mexico, in the Altiplano region, with the eastern portion dominated by the Sierra Madre Oriental.

The Territory was created on 24 November 1824, from part of the State of Puebla. Tlaxcala Territory became the State of Tlaxcala in 1856.
