Mayor of Princeton, New Jersey
Princeton was founded by Europeans in the latter part of the 17th century (the Great Awakening in New Jersey was about 1720)[1] Because of a dispute over school taxes, the Borough seceded from the Township in 1894 and both became fully independent municipalities. They merged back in 2016.
