Tiago Miguel da Silva Vilela Lima Pereira, known as Lima Pereira (born 3 June 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a defender for LigaPro club Cova da Piedade.

Football career

Born in Póvoa de Varzim, Lima Pereira's final youth club was FC Porto, and he was an unused substitute for the reserves in Segunda Liga for two matches in the middle of the 2012–13 season. He then joined another second team, Vitória S.C. B, in the third tier, winning promotion in his first season.

On 9 August 2014, Lima Pereira made his professional debut in a 2014–15 Segunda Liga match against Feirense, when he started and played the full game.[1] He played two full seasons with the club in that league.

For the 2016–17 season, Lima Pereira joined his hometown club Varzim S.C. in the same league. His father António and uncles Paulo and Miguel had previously played for the team.[2]

On 23 June 2017, Lima Pereira left his native Norte region for the first time, signing with C.D. Cova da Piedade on a three-year deal, again in the second division.[3] He went further afield in January 2019, when he joined Eastern Sports Club of the Hong Kong Premier League on a six-month loan.[4]
