← 2018 2022

All 49 seats in the States Assembly

General elections are expected to be held in Jersey in 2022 to elect the 49 members of the States Assembly. The date of the election has yet to be announced.[1]

Electoral system

Under a proposition approved by the States Assembly in December 2020, the 2022 elections will be the first to be held under a new electoral system. Under the system, the role of Senators and Deputies are abolished and replaced with 37 representatives elected across 9 districts. The election of one Connétable from each of the twelve parishes will be maintained.
