Farinaz Koushanfar is a professor and Henry Booker Faculty Scholar of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, California, USA.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran i, Master of Science from UCLA and MA in statistics and PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley in December 2005.[1]
