Stone Bridge ca 1880

Stone Bridge (Estonian: Kivisild) was a bridge in Tartu, Estonia.[1] Nowadays, on the same place is located Kaarsild.

The bridge was opened on 16 September 1784. The bridge was built by command given by the empress Catherine II of Russia.[1]

The bridge was destroyed during WW II in 1941.[2]
