The Goldendale Sentinel is a newspaper that covers local news about Goldendale, Washington and the surrounding Klickitat county region.[1] It is the oldest paper in eastern Washington.[2] The paper began publication in 1884 when two papers, the Klickitat Sentinel and Goldendale Gazette, were purchased and merged.[3][4][2] It is recognized by Klickitat County as a community media source.[5] Lou Marzeles is the current editor of the paper and has owned it since 2010.[6][7]
