Bill Ortwein

William Hubert Ortwein (July 21, 1940 – January 26, 2019) was an American attorney and politician who served as a member of the Tennessee Senate for the 10th district between 1977 and 1985. Ortwein was a Democrat.[1][2]

Background

Ortwein was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and went to the public schools. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Ortwein received his bachelor's and law degrees from University of Tennessee and practiced law in Chattanooga.[3]
