In June 2020, he was offered a contract by Wellington ahead of the 2020–21 domestic cricket season.[13][14] In November 2020, Ravindra was named in the New Zealand A cricket team for practice matches against the touring West Indies team.[15][16] In the first practice match, Ravindra scored a century, with 112 runs.[17]
