Arta epicoenalis is a species of snout moth in the genus Arta. It was described by Ragonot, in 1891, and is known from the United States,[1] where it is found from California to Texas and Oklahoma.[3]

The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are light reddish with pale antemedial and postmedial lines that diverge slightly as they run from the costa to the inner margin. The hindwings are light grey. Adults are on wing from June to July in California.
