São Brás de Alportel (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̃w ˈβɾaʒ d(ɨ) alpuɾˈtɛl] ^ⓘ) is a municipality in the District of Faro^[1] in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 10,662,^[2] in an area of 153.37 km².^[3]

The present Mayor is Vítor Guerreiro, elected by the Socialist Party. The municipal holiday is June 1.
