Alec Cameron commenced as Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of Aston University in September, 2016.[1]
Education
Cameron was a Rhodes scholar in the Robotics Research Group at the University of Oxford[2] and attended a six-week advanced management program at Harvard Business School.[1]
Career
He was previously deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Western Australia, dean of the Australian School of Business and president of the Australian Business Deans Council.[1] In 2018 he was one of 5 candidates for The Guardian University Award for the Most Inspiring Leader.[3]
